I have a problem with my Morrowind game.

I tried to install Morrowind on my new PC when I first got it but this message showed up,

Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID max size is 8, data truncated to "#"

anyone have an idea what this means?

I think I may have gotten that before as well, I fixed it by doing a fresh install.
Agreed. Sounds like a file failed to copy properly.
are you playing with the expansions? if so, make sure you install them in the right order. Morrowind first, then Tribunal, and finally Bloodmoon. I know installing them in different orders can cause errors.

Nope, didn't work. i got another error message,

failed to load snowflake:meshes/BM_snow_01.nif

Why the hell is it so f*cking difficult to install this god damn game??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does that happen if you just install the vanilla Morrowind? Might help to narrow it down to one of the expansions.
is there a site you can copy from? like Mishy pointed out it might just be a problem with the disk you're using.

I'm not sure what else you could try then. Sorry.
